Already approved? Follow these steps to configure your Beacons account correctly so qualifying website sales can be attributed to you.
You need a Beacons account before Beacons can attribute qualifying affiliate sales to you.
If you do not yet have a Beacons account, follow the account-creation instructions provided by A&E Venture after your affiliate application is approved.
Configure the payout information required by Beacons. Beacons currently sends affiliate commission payouts through PayPal.
Beacons controls payout eligibility, verification requirements, processing procedures, and payout availability. Platform requirements may change.
After approval, A&E Venture will provide the affiliate link associated with the Custom Website Package.
From your Beacons dashboard, open Products.
Create a new product entry inside your Beacons account.
Select “External Link” as the product type.
Beacons requires the affiliate product to be configured as an External Link for affiliate attribution to work properly.
Paste the affiliate URL provided by A&E Venture into the External Link product.
Save the affiliate product inside your Beacons account.
Go to your Link in Bio, open the Store block you want to use, and add your newly created A&E Venture affiliate product.
Confirm that the affiliate product appears correctly on your Beacons page and that your setup matches the instructions above before beginning promotion.
When recommending A&E Venture using an affiliate link, clearly tell your audience that you may receive a commission if they purchase through your link.
“I may earn a commission if you purchase an A&E Venture service through my affiliate link.”
The disclosure should be easy to notice and placed close to the recommendation or affiliate link whenever reasonably possible.
Do not hide the disclosure in unrelated terms, a separate page, or vague wording.
A qualifying customer completes the Custom Website Package purchase through properly attributed affiliate tracking.
Beacons identifies the qualifying affiliate attribution.
The affiliate commission becomes available according to Beacons’ current eligibility and payout rules.
The affiliate initiates the applicable Beacons payout process.
